The branch I went into today had loads of non-food Easter items at 1/2 price, i.e. 50p. I bought a couple of craft kits which we can do together when she gets a bit more dextrous (decorate-your-own finger puppets for next year, and a knit-your-own woollen chick for 2019). :)

From Trongate, Glasgow. Monster High Vinyl Figure, Count Fabulous (other varieties available). Not sure what else is out there!

Google suggests there may be more interesting ones out in the wild: https://www.google.com/search?site=&tbm=isch&source=hp&biw=1280&bih=635&q=monster+high+8%2B+vinyl+figure&oq=monster+high+8%2B+vinyl+figure&gs_l=img.12...1777.1777.0.2548.2.2.0.0.0.0.414.414.4-1.1.0....0...1ac..64.img..1.0.0.0.AII986PYl50

Are pedestal mats still a "thing"? If they are, Sauchiehall Street Poundland has them, in Black, Turquoise, White and Beige.
However, I can see a post on HUKD a few months back saying their store sold them for 50p, in Pink (really hard to tell from the tiny photo if it's exactly the same item) http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/pedestal-mat-50p-poundland-2622283

Also, in Union Street, some nice summer things for the kids, but over £1 -

Disney Princess Swimming Costumes (sizes seem to run from sizes 3-4 up to 7-8 as far as I could see) £4, Paw Patrol (Swim?) Shorts £3, Spider Man (Swim?) Shorts £3, Justice League Cotton Shorts £3 (no Wonder Woman motif, bah), My Little Pony Cotton Shorts £3, My Little Pony/Disney Princess Play Suits (from what I can tell) £5, Avengers Cotton Joggers £5, Paw Patrol Short Pyjama Set £3, Despicable Me Short Pyjama Set £3.

A beach bag, beach towels and a Superman Robe on the bottom but can't remember what price they were.

Full size jpeg to zoom in on, here: http://i.imgur.com/AyHhrRR.jpg

Edit: (Woops, missed out the top row of my photo - Paw Patrol T-shirt - Girls' or Boys' varieties £2, My Little Pony T-shirt, £2, and - I assume, an Avengers' T-shirt, photo is cut off at the right).

They are and will continue to be, as long as men don't bother to aim.
