Hi
Im seeking advice if anyone can help me. In my early 20s I developed a gambling addiction taking over, ruining my credit rating with payday loans, not paying some with other bills not getting paid. Things changed with seeking help and starting a career now qualified! I’m 26 earning a good wage with a debt of 2700 that recently been paid off but my credit score is poor due to my past how can I improve my credit as I want to get mortgage in year or two?

Entries on your credit report are automatically removed six years after the account is defaulted or settled, whichever happens sooner.
So it's just a matter of time in clearing the bad stuff.
To add the good stuff there's guidance here
