I'm sitting in the January thread til the very end but thought I should mark up here now it's alive too. GC has been a massive eye opener for me - current spends, after a sneaky chocolate run in Ho*e B**gains this morning (well I'm at 30wks pregnant, so have an excuse for the next few months!), are at £302.93/£450 - and I'm amazed that by doing meal plans, based on cupboard and freezer inventories, shopping lists and using mysupermarket, we've saved so much. I find all the sharing of meal plans a great help on here - so will endevour to share mine from now on. Can I be put down for £400 for the new month starting on Friday? I'll still stick around on Jan too though until Thurs night and will update signature too. Fingers crossed for good savings for the rest of GCers :T************************************************************

Hi
Very pleased with last months underspend (257/300), can I reduce to £280 for the month please.
The worst thing for me is OH is hopeless at giving me receipts! Even when I ask him to, and he always pops into Co-op for things. Very annoying!
Month started on 25th and quite a few spends already since then (will update when I work it out) but we have a fair bit of food in so shouldn't be spending too much.
Good luck everyone!Kitchen Debt - 2820/260Save £12k in 2013 #060: 1293.24/3000MFW: 88760.00/85000.00 (4.24% paid)0 -

You all inspire me...I have LOTS of christmas food left over and jars of sauces / dried packet foods etc...my freezer is permanently heaving and so over full that I cannot freeze dying veg or excess cooked meals...and it hasnt been defrosted in 6 years! I will spend february emptying it (one draw is full of just bananas, cranberries and blueberries! - none of which we eat - veg box leftovers!) and I am now going through the recipe books (of which I have loads) and going to try to avoid meat and veg shopping for a few weeks...Fingers crossed it works.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering Target - 2024 - 2,874 April - 231/171

Hello everyone:)
3 NSDs in a row:j Baked 2 wholemeal loaves today and a chocolate traybake. Not eating any though until tomorrow, as on the IF* diet today, so it's just veggies and cod for tea -not a lot of preparation there:T Just hoping I can keep DH out of the cake tin until tomorrow:rotfl:Sealed Pot Challenge 7 Member 022 :staradmin:staradmin:staradmin

Good afternoon everyone
I am still running in the January Challenge (due to end Thurs 31st) but am posting my target for February now. Had intended to drop a little from January but remembered that it is half term this month so not only will my two DC be here but also my OH two DC. Three teens and one ten year old ..... maybe I will drop it next month. :rotfl:
So, could you please put me down for £400 for the month (1-28 Feb).
Many ThanksSealed Pot Challenge 6 - Member 1938
