The table sale today went well, I made £90.00 profit and made £36.00 for my son from his art work. I put £80.00 straight in the sealed holiday pot.
We spent £10.00 of it having a box office film this afternoon along with cinema style snacks for four, so not a bad treat really at £2.50 each.
All food has come from storage cupboards and freezer today. Feeling pooped so I'm going to have a treaty bath and read call the midwife!

I know, I thought so too, didn't hold out much hope of selling anything, good positive kick start to the new year. There must be money out there, everyone is just being super careful.
I'm looking forward to watching Sherlock tonight, watched cowboys and Aliens today with the boys, it was rubbish, not even daniel craigs six pack saved it, if two teenage boys think it was pants then it must have been! least we had a bit of family time though x:T

Blood tests were done this morning so I should find out the results on Friday! Going to take son#3 to get his brace fitted today then a tescos food drop at 2, might just sort through all the sale stuff I have bought and see who I have to still get for out of the boots sale tomorrow.
On target with all bills at the moment and need to look at organizing my piggy banks so that I can work out which day to pay the monthly amount in for the next year as i have found this month abit confusing and have ended up putting two payments into one! EEEEEK! I actually managed to get the second drawer down on the freezer open and can see into the still stuck top drawer, there are signs of mince and chicken in there, the problem is getting to it without defrosting the whole freezer and ruining whats still in there:mad:
Planning a spend day today then have a few NSD in a row as from tomorrow, need to pay phone bill and post some ebay stuff, also the £93 MR T payment will come off my card today, should last us a month though.
    Happy Tuesday all:j

  • hi all.I am another newbie that has been lurking about on the site since before xmas. This site has really inspired me>i plan to have a go at homemade hampers this year and really cut back on spending.I realised on xmas day just how ridiculous things have got.I have a teenage boy and a toddler boy that got a pile of presents that was just so much they lost interest in opening them after a few.Quite a lot were second hand, like the cheap ride on that was got for my toddler, was in near new condition.I just want this year to be less worry and concentrate on paying debts and having more fun and enjoying life. This site is truly amazing and just love all the people that love to share their life experiences and knowledge.thanks to all
