    Hello there

Ooh, I probably could freeze the cordial as ice cubes BB…Just need to sort my freezer out first but that would be a go-er… :T

Here’s some other bits from me:
Still using my Rok deodorant – can’t honestly believe how many years they last!!
Lunch is organic wholewheat pasta on special offer – 85p down to 37p – with half a can of value toms, frozen broccoli, onion granules, garlic powder, salt, pepper
Extra spoonful of porridge oats at brekkie keeping elevenses at bay :p
    Putting cheque in at lunch
Card from stash for pal ;)
Asked OH to update YNAB as I’m all reconciled

Thank you for enlighten me, I had no idea what they were, this looks much more fun than anything my brain was coming up with. I got very excited following links and looking how to make them, realising they were something I had the skills for and how they would make great presents and then realised nobody we know baths they are have showers :o

    Hi All

Am on target, I have £55 to last me until 20 oct and so far doing OK.

Weather here is stunning and as I am sat in work all the men are outside doing hedging fencing and shed repairs. Glorious.

I need to menu plan as I have let this lapse AGAIN.

    Never ending my lapses!
Just seen that foxgloves has done the same chutney as mine. Hope it is all yummy. I have also done apple and chilli, our eating apple crop has been incredible. Raspberries are coming to an end.

    Have a good week all.

    Afternoon all :)
Stressful morning as the recon washing machine I was having delivered for DS from a local charity project arrived broken - the delivery driver was lovely, but a bit scatty, and hadn't strapped it in place in the van and it had got thrown about in the back of the van :(. Alongside that, he nearly got stuck on the sharp bend at the end of our back lane, threatening my neighbour's wall  Anyway, the charity phoned with apologies and they are going to send another machine on Thursday. Hopefully OH will be here then to sort out any stuck lorries :eek:

Anyway, apart from that, I have:
    Walked dog
Packed and posted 4 ebay parcels (took ages to pack, as they were breakable items - fingers crossed they get there ok. In fairness, they generally do!)
Popped into Lidl while I was out, as their Greek yogurt is the best ever! Also went to Sainsburys, but only to help myself to wine boxes for packing, didn't spend anything in there. Felt slightly guilty, but it isn't as though I don't spend in there every week! And if I take them, they don't have to pay for disposal :D
Sold 2 more items, more packing to do!
    Listed 1 more
    Hoovered stairs
DD and OH polished off the left over quiche I had earmarked for dinner, so thinking cap on!

Hope Ally is ok, haven't seen her on lately....
  • Evening all. No time to post this morning as I dozed over with 2 DD who had found their way into bed with me :o busy day but lots of good things:

Sold another fleabay item, must package up and move funds
Moved yesterday's fleabay funds to savings, split between 2 pots
    Checked banking, surveys and FPL.
    Tea from freezer
Washing dry outside until it got cold then inside on airer
    Watch recorded programme on tv
DH picked up overtime shift on Friday
    Picked 3 cherry tomatoes
Half a tub of ys soup for lunch, rest tomorrow
  • Thanks foxgloves and determined new ms. Pepper is chopped and in the freezer. Not worried about the crispness just as long as it doesn't go to waste.

Nearly made it a NSD until I spent 15p on a pack of YS Mr K lemon slices in tesco express. I find the best time to go in there is about 7pm but don't get the opportunity very often. I very rarely buy cakes these days as I prefer to make my own but think I would struggle to make them for 15p.

Can't sleep so I thought I'd get up-to-date with MSE news. I've been busy at work the last couple of days so haven't had chance. It's always good in a wG because I've had 2 NSD's.Other than that:
    - work lunch yesterday
    - parcelled up eBay sale
    - relisted 2 books on Facebook
    - exchanged strawberries that had gone off too quickly
    - checked postcode lottery/ipoll/MR apps
    - read MSE newsletter
    - got a query on an MR I did last week which I must follow up
Think that's it for the last 2 days. Can't wait for payday on Friday 😃

    Hi everyone

I didn't win the euro millions so thought I'd pop by and say hello :rotfl:

I'm away with work tonight so looking forward to a free meal and a nice hotel stay. :D

Just the usual apart from that on the cheapo porridge brekkie and packed lunch - that's what really keeps me on the straight and narrow as £5ish a day is crazy otherwise.

Have asked Santa for £££ towards our holiday rather than 'things'. :T

Catch up with you soon! Best go pack...
