    2012 is the peak year for Northern lights so might not get cheap like they did this year.

    you're right - looks like the fred olsen feb one could be sold out already! found fred. olsen going in september but reduces their chances of seeing the lights. she's going with somebody in her 30s so that rules them out of the saga.

    Bargains seem to have been a bit sparse lately.

    MSC has 7nights on the Poesia re-positioning form Genoa to S'hampton depart 10 May for £149 cruise-only, all avaiable categories (everything up to Cat11 this morning, the Cat12 suites have gone.) No single supplement. Bookable on the MSC site but probably available through your usual agent. too. MSC Club members get their usual discount.

    I thought I posted this one yesterday so it may have gone.

    NCL Jade tomorrow(29th), Barcelona to Venice £412 through NCL US direct. or £420 NCL UK

    Flight indirect £160 (expedia found those)

    So any cruise bargain out of BCN check for the cheap indirects at last minute.


    Cheap Transatlantics in May 2weeks < £300 but flight are usually an issue so I have not looked.

    Flight on Alitalia LHR via Rome £104, coach back to get the car.

    LGW BA £188 direct and the cheap train option to get the car if parked at gatwick

    Stansted(not so convenient) ryanair £60 9th, £100 10th

    Yes, the BA flight is expensive as MSC will be filling it up. I checked for the Monday and the fare was only £68! Cheapest Genoa hotel was coming up about £30 on skyscanner.
