thanks for dropping by lucky! yep you are right, i cant help but torture myself trawling property sites every now and then!

Ive done this months budget, and im hoping to make/exceed all our savings targets this month to make up for Aprils outgoings that meant we didnt save that month.

I have set grocery targets, and intend to keep within budget, all small savings from this will go to our forever home fund/Premium bonds.:)

Im off work now until wednesday, we have a few frugal treats in store, the main thing is quality time together with my husband , making plans for our future rural dreams while strolling in the countryside is my idea of heaven :happylove:)

Had a NSD, stuck to meal plan :)

Hubby and i are determined to have £40,000 in premium bonds by xmas, we have set ourselves the challenge! We also have a loan to pay back with a balance of £3,900, this was money from hubbys parents , they helped him when he was going through tough times in the past when he was going through a divorce etc, we want this cleared before xmas 2015 also, so a total of £13900 by xmas 2015!!

We will do this (hopefully) with careful budgeting, overtime, and being as sensible with our cash as possible, but still having the occasional treat along the way:):)

    Day one of our challenge!!:j

im feeling really positive about our goals, and now we are down to the last 15 months of our fixed rate, and paying this mortgage off in full, and getting it on the market is getting closer, we are starting to get really excited about the sale/house move :j

Today, i've only spent £2.50 on bread, bread cakes and heat mag for the tele guide, so on track for our grocery budget still for this week:)

Ive just been calculating savings , and we are on target to meet all our other savings goals in 2016 too, all our hard work and frugal ways are paying off!!
