Are there any threads on this and how to go about it? We have had two successful appeals against PCNs but both involved loads of time and stress. Anyone successfully done this??

Harassment is a difficult one but if you won both times, you
could have fun with DPA claims against them.
In other words, they had no good reason to obtain your data
£250 - £750

Then there is Ms Jopson who took Homeguard to the cleaners at appeal after a silly judge found against her.

Parking companies are becoming increasingly exposed as irate motorists fight back against their scams, but stay clear of harassment, the bar is set very high. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Were both PCNs for exactly the same situation and were they residential or other private land?
Depending on the circumstances there are ideas people will give you but to do so would require much more information about what you have experienced.0 -
May I also suggest you read Ferguson v British Gas if you wish to walk that path. It is informative as to the standard that needs to met...

Both PCNs were for ECP operated car parks, one in the centre of Manchester and one at Sainsbury's Brixton.0 -
In the case of a major retailer, such as Sainsburys, when given the chance you should go for them as well, as they are jointly liable for the actions of their agents.
The only time not to go for the landowner as well, is if they are a small independent entity, such as a one man sop/pub, or a community centre/hall , in which case they can be victims of the PPC as wellFrom the Plain Language Commission:
"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"0 -

It's the PPC who caused the harassment not the landowners.0 -
