Hi All. I have been paying off a debt from Advantis (from Thames Water) for about a year. I was down to £50 but now they have slapped another £95 on top because "their client has made an adjustment" apparently! Can they just add a sum on top of a debt when I've been paying it off?
When I queried it they told me to write to Thames Water. I asked the goon on the phone what's to stop them adding another £95 on again if I pay that off and he wouldn't answer me...
