My impression with military discounts in travel then you should be advised of companies offering them (I seem to remember some type of military magazine advising which companies offered them). Maybe a quick check with your colleagues might answer the question?

I think Disney do discount tickets for militiary families. Last time we were there, at Seaworld, they asked who was military, and they all had to stand up and the audience applauded whilst the national anthem played, both the stars and stripes and our national anthem. It was quite moving really.

    If you go on or

    http://www.allearsnet.com/ and

    http://www.disboards.com/index.php

www.thedibb.co.uk there are miitary threads, certainly on the US one which give details of discounts. May not give you flight discounts though, just ticket and accom details.

Marker, all members of UK Armed Forces are entitled to free entry to Sea World, Orlando (and other parks).

I have used this before and it is quick and easy.

Managed to get my family of four in for free which is quite a saving! Just remember to take your Military ID card with you on holiday or you will be refused! I believe you will only be entitled to one free entry per annum though.

    Hi Marker,
do you know about this website http://www.forcesdiscounts-mod.co.uk/?
You can also send off for a travel brochure called Forces holidays (I think thats the name of it). The HIVE on your camp will give you the details.
    Happy holidays!

Another website offering discounts to Armed Forces members and families is www.forcesdiscount-mod.co.uk

The discounts are also available to members of the Army, Air & Sea cadet Forces and their families.

My daughter has been in the Army Cadets for several years and was advised about this not long after she started.
