    Morning Campers,
Was up early this morning as mr f has to drive 3 counties away to get to a meeting. Most of my money saving efforts today will be centred around getting last bits of crops in.....more grapes & chillies, squashes, red peppers, beans, etc, as those night temperatures are dropping. Will use some of these pickings in tonight's meal & plan what to do with the rest. Looks a sunny day so should be able to get laundry dry for free too. And when I do get my bum in a chair, I'll be knitting more of the 2 Christmas gifts I currently have on the go.
Off down the shed to get my gardening boots on, colander & secateurs at the ready for pickings.
    Have a good day all,
    F x

Mooooooooooorning! Foxgloves you're posting early this morning! I've been awake since 6.30 - usual time for us!

Just finishing off my coffee before springing into action. It's oh's dd's birthday tomorrow and in our usual style we have left it last minute :o and it's his 70th so can't be something lame! Thinking about getting him a voucher for 2 x sports massage - he's big into fitness and has a shoulder injury. We've found a groupon voucher for £20 instead of £50. I'm going to make him a red velvet cake. And I've contacted his sister to see if she has a photo of their family when he was young. Hard to get special gifts when you're on a budget!

    Things for today:

    * write list of bits needed and stick to list when at the SM
thinking as I'm going to the sm I might go shopping for the next 2 weeks... Take bags with me ;)
    * checked banking, did a couple of transfers & updated spending diary - since I've been sticking to this I agree La E I feel a little out of sorts until I get a chance to put in spends in & reconcile accounts!
    * looks like its going to be a grey and drizzly day so thinking we'll have a day at home :D or might go to a play group this afternoon...
    * check tyre pressure
    * nip to the allotment and pick runner beans and courgettes :D
    * clean house - efficiently (aka quickly!), with minimal products and washable cloths :money:
    * 2 muffins out of the freezer for afternoon snacks :)

That's all I can think of right now! Have a great day x

    Morning all :)
    Nice morning here :)

    Today's list:
    So far:
    Load of washing in
    Dog walk #1
    HG fruit for breakfast

    Still to do:
    Housework :(Done some :)
Peg out washing when done Done, all dry :)
See if anything in the garden needs watering Nothing seemed desperate after the rain at the weekend
Harvest chillis, I usually try to keep the plants over winter - it usually works for one winter at any rate :)Not got to this
Trip out this afternoon to look for a washing machine for DS Done, got a recon one for a good price
Paperwork for business Work in progress!
    RM surveys tasks Done
Check for online surveys Done a few
    Post an ebay item Done
Maybe list some more bits Listed 1 thing
Finished off some bits from the fridge for lunch
More of the pork joint we cooked at the weekend for dinner, used up some salad stuff to go with it :)
DD got a bargain at a local farm shop - yellow stickered quarter local lamb packs reduced to half price (£14). She got one for her and picked up one for us. So, for the £14 I got:
    8 lamb chops
    a bag of stewing lamb
    a half leg joint
    a half shoulder joint
And this is top quality meat, nice big joints - we hardly ever have lamb these days because it is so expensive, so I was very pleased with this :D

Had a struggle to get it in the freezer though - had to take some bits out to use up over the next few days!
That lot should keep me busy - wonder how far I will get down the list :p

    Hi all
Just popping in to moan that I'm busy, and tired, and not managing to get very much done - or I don't feel like I am.
Managed my 3rd nsd today. Meals from stores, packed lunch for work.
    Crafty Christmas still ongoing...
    Hope everyone is ok.

    Well hello there everyone

It's been quiet on here today.

Dawn - I know!! Totally wanted to shout at them as they sounded like me 10 years ago!!

I've found it harder to get up early for the past two mornings now it's darker - thrown my body clock. I don't use an alarm but now I know how dark it is at 6am I will be ok by tomorrow I'm sure.

Still need to check YNAB - all looks a bit scary :(
Replied to email from tenant and another biz email
Brekkie in work - free milk
    Packed lunch
Spent £2 limit on lunch when I got the spending urge
    Need to answer survey qs

I'm on the hunt for my 10mm crochet hook - I know it's around here somewhere  Made myself a hat but I ripped it out - think it will work better with a bigger hook...

Oh, spent just £24.61 in Ts last night - should last until the weekend

    Hmmm...sure there's more!
