I buy Aldi quilted stuff at I think £2.99 for 9 rolls. Not the cheapest, but it's nice good quality stuff

I like the non-quilted version as importantly it doesn't shed, leaving a dusty bathroom, ditto the Lidl equivalent. I eventually swapped from premium brands for this reason.

I recently bought some "CosySoft" fromPoundstretcher, 2x18 rolls for £5. They do the job but I won't bother again. I'll stick to what I know!

Just lost out on 18 rolls of Nicky from Heron for £3.78.
Saw them from the bus stop, went over, queued up, all went to people in front, so missed out and also missed the bus. lol

I buy the Asda 24 for £8 stuff as it's local, but when Costco do the loo & kitchen roll promotion, I make a special trip & ensure not just my house but three other households have their supplies of paperwork up to date.

When I have to lay down my licence & stick to public transport, I may well take a taxi for that trip - or better, add more families & book a minibus-size cab.

I'm lucky in that I am within reach of Costco Edinburgh, it's worth the journey for some things. I will keep an eye out for this in the brochure, ty!

I tried Nicky, but for some reason all of my local stores sell either 2 ply or the scented ones only - I can't use em :( I tried the Iceland one - for us, it's a bit of a shredder :o and I find that both Andrex & Asda are quite "dusty" iyswim. I'm a huge fan of Regina Impressions - it's comparable with Charmin (but I think better!) and is always cheap(ish) in Wilko, and they have regular offers. At the mo it's 95p for 4 :)

We find Breeze (from Iceland) to be OK. 24 rolls for £5.

Aye. Good value. Only discovered it about 6 months ago so saved a lot against the puppy-dog brand.

I used to buy Nicky in Savers but didn't realise how quickly we really went through them until my DM bough me some Andrex and I noticed the difference. Currently using Lidl 3ply (which are embossed) - seem to be lasting longer and not dusty imo.

Recent convert to Nicky after a new Home Bargains opened. I like the scented ones as its a small bathroom and makes it smell nice.
Its not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama ;)
