    Help2Buy Saving challenge 2018 14th Nov 17 at 6:14 PM
This challenge is about saving up to £200 each month in your Help2Buy ISA account.
In your first month of opening the account, you can save £1,200. You can make as many deposits as you'd like in the months after the initial opening month to the account as long as it doesn't exceed £200.

Do not leave yourself short in order to save £200 each month! Ensure bills and essentials are budgeted for / paid for first.

You can include other challenges in this thread as long as it is going towards your Help2Buy ISA account.

feel free to join & Start now to give yourselves a head start.

    * New Information about the challenge*
    • You may join if you have already started your ISA
    • You may join if you have already brought a hose and want to start saving for a new home
    • You may post for both the Help To Buy ISA and if you have an account set up specifically for any extra money you would like to put towards the house. JUST PLEASE let us know what you are updating

    Of course you can join
You can deposit however much you wish but for us with help to buy Isa's £200 is max.

I have a lot of money to pay back my fiance so I'm aiming to save £100 as the must goal but more may be added if I can afford it up until I pay him everything

Not sure if I can join this as I already have a help to buy ISA but I'm hoping to increase my house savings next year up to £8000 (an additional £3000 so not all will go to the ISA).

You can still join. I guess any one looking to save for a house is welcome .

I just did the challenge as h2b as I just wanted some motivation and to help others in the same boat x

Hoping I can join....I started. H2B ISA in March 2016 and currently have £4300 in it. I’ve been paying the full £200 most months.

Having paid off the last of my HUGE (£25k) loan today [there have been lots of happy tears today] I now plan to boost my house saving though this can’t go in to my H2B ISA, so I’ve got a separate bank account opened ready for any ‘extra’.

    Please can I join too?
    LBM 03/07 £44k DFD 31/12/17 12/17 £2555.50
    Credit Card £2500.00 & Next £55.50
    Savings = £81.21 & Help To Buy ISA = £4500.00

    Yeah of course, hope.

I plan to do the same after I reach £1,000 in emergency funds (so I'm only putting £100 in each savings account then once £1,000 is reached, i will be just focusing on the house ISA. If i already deposit £200 I will put the rest in another account)

great job with the loan though!!

I have £444 to pay back to my fiancee as we went 'half' on our new TV, curtains, PS4 and washing machine but paying £20-£40 a month for that
