I rarely venture out onto the main board as I get a bit deflated by the amount of 'omg how can you be so stupid' type responses to some peoples threads :(

Much prefer to cosy up here with my supportive mates :D

Its was a post about credit ratings that stood out today, it makes me laugh when I see 80 odd people on the other boards and over 200 on these boards

I posted a reply to something on the credit cards board and someone else replied sarcastically "maybe your DFW signature should give you clue", which I thought was completely out of order. I'm sure some people trawl the boards being superior at someone elses expense.

    I like it here :)

    PPS

I think its roughly half of credit card co's that count over payments towards the minimum, I seem to remember from an industry forum that nationwide do, bcard and MBNA dont. I keep the DD so I never get late charges, but then make a payment the same day that the DD goes out, so it counts towards that statement. Hope thats useful to someone x

I have one unhappy dog who has a form of baby oil on one ear and then craddle cap shampoo treatment on the other! If it saves money it's all better in the long term!

You know you just made me realise, maybe that's where the term 'trolling' comes from - trolls trawl? (maybe not...) I know what you mean though, it's easy to get all superior sometimes, but if you're trying to help people out, there's no need to be mean! I was being sympathetic to someone's thread once, and pointed out a piece of law on working hours to help out, and a third person came in and told me I was an idiot and was talking nonsense, and should keep my advice to myself in future. But I was QUOTING the law!
