Really want to get going....hopefully i am entering next year debt free(very ambitious....)but considering i have £14,300 of debt to my name right this minute its going to be a heck of a challenge.......should hopefully get rid of £10,000 of debt this month though, saving me £522.30 a month in payments!! So roll on 2012, debt free and a new start in life....at 20 years old!! Will give me opportunity to save a house deposit and move out before i turn the old age of 22 summer 2013!!!! Lets do it :D
Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.

I'll take up your challenge at £12,000. Should be interesting to try to get that.

    Count me in too!
We have £500+/month disposable income at present but that should easily jump up to over £1k/month after childcare costs IF I can find work and/or DH is promoted (on cards).
Hope to smash £12k target, then use as property deposit!

Count me in...but only for £5000 please. It doesn't sound a lot but at the moment it is probably all we can afford and I am going to try my very best to reach that. Thank you.

Can I join please? £12k is actually more than I earn but I would be thrilled to save £7500 in 2012. I would love to save £10k a year but this isn't very realistic unfortunately.

I have to admit I've been waiting for this thread to be set up a while now, I was a bit too late to join this year's challenge!
    Thank you competition posters!

    Hi All
I'd like to join too. This year, thanks to the DFW board and jwil's 'Pay off as much as you can' challenge I am now debt free! :j

Turning my attention to getting some savings in the bank as I am hoping to give up my job soon to focus on my own business. Put me down for 12k please. Thanks
