Sports club and short notice auto enrol

Hi,
I have volunteered to help out a local club (with paid employees) and have discovered that their staging date for auto-enrolment is 1st October 2015.
Ideally I could do with a bit more time to write to staff and things arranged although could manage at a push.
My question is is it worth contacting The Pensions Regulator to ask for a postponement?

You have to ensure compliance is met. Pushing yourself may lead to errors.0

Hi!
You need to postpone. then you can stage in January. You might also be ware most providers will not set up new schemes as August and October this year are the busiest for staging and they have too many new schemes to deal with any more.
