Oh Mila how awful about your daughter, hope they catch them! I always think about buying a house alarm but then I don't actually know what the hell I would do if it goes off!! I don't want to see them! I would rather sleep through it/be out and deal with it after! Well, obviously would rather not be robbed!

Ummm no that is def not the Power I have been watching Note :rotfl: I've been watching one about a New York drug gang who money launder through a nightclub lol Produced by 50 cent, I've been watching it on Netflix, where have you been watching yours?! How funny, sound like total opposite programs lol

ROTE how fantastic paying off £30,000!!! How long did it take you? Was it just cutting back and saving where you could? I wish I had things to sell!! I probably could sell expensive shoes, clothes and handbags but I don't have loads and would never get close to what I paid so I am using that to justify keeping them!!

Caravan hell over! Was worse than I imagined!!! SO expensive!! And a load of rubbish! Tried to paint a smile on my face and enjoy it but I have never been so glad to be home. Clean bed, clean shower, in my own house! I don't get back pain but every morning my back was killing me for the first half hour getting up. I am pretty sure I was sleeping in a child size single bed!!

Off to Pizza Express tomorrow with my friend I am hoping the vouchers will cover the majority of it, it should do, I think it's £32 or £34 and if it is over we will just split whatever it is so shouldn't be much. I also NEED to buy foundation, I have been scraping the very ends of the last 2 bottles and I don't think I can last any longer. If only make up free was a look I could pull off....I can't!!

Think I spend just under £100 when I was away and on absolutely nothing! Booked my car in for the dreaded MOT next Tuesday morning...fingers crossed! I am off work this week so hopefully won't cost me too much money but I do have a busy weekend coming up...30th, baby shower and engagement party. I think I will drive to engagement and 30th just need presents and baby shower is my daughter friend and she has bought loads of outfits so I am just sticking my name on the card and will get a present when baby arrives.

Nothing much else to report, off to get into my own bed...can't wait! xxx

Plans changed for today and never went to Pizza Express, in the end went to a new fancy restaurant and cost me £25!! One course, bottle of water, cake and tea...pricey lunch when I had budgeted a few pounds!

Went to Boots for make up and I had £44 on my Boots card! So my foundation at £33 came off that - it goes up a pound every time I buy it it feels!! But then let myself down and bought a blusher at £29 since I told myself the foundation was free!

Spent £50 on a bank transfer to my friend towards the present for my friends 30th so at least that is that out the way and then I am buying the engagement gift with another friend and that was £40.

I haven't stuck to budgets this month and had to lump all my money together and with 13 days until pay day I have £25 towards petrol and £45 left for food - only fresh things like fruit, veg, milk etc I hope...£15 to socialise to cover a few soft drinks at the weekend as I am 100% driving now with this dire money situation and next weekend I have no plans and won't be making any!! £50 is allocated to the MOT...but if anything needs done to it thats when s**t hits the fan as I have no money!! I did stupidly pay that £200 extra towards the credit card when I had just been paid and got carried away so if I do need to use it then not the end of the world, but the £200 over payment would have been nice!

Oh well, tomorrow will be a spend free day (apart from food items from the allocated budget so I am not counting this as spending!) xxx

This foundation and blusher situation so me! I have to buy blusher too very soon and going without foundation is not an option. I overspent last month. Heartened that im not alone. Sometimes we just need stuff even when we are trying to debt repay. Its not easy. Hope you enjoy your make up bits. xxx

Be sure and check out online coupons that can be printed off, or used if you shop online. I know MAC is available on Amazon. I look throughout the year at it in the warehouse deals for stocking stuffers for two of my girls. Occasionally good deals come up.
And always get samples of new products at the makeup counter. I'm sure you know this. ;)
Overprepare, then go with the flow.

Exactly PSL, make up and skin care is not a luxury to me, it is an essential. Coupons aren't really a big thing here but I should have a look in the future. I only really use Estee Lauder double wear as it hides a multitude of sins.

A day of cleaning ahead and going to the gym...I actually enjoy both things so to most this may be boring but I am looking forward to it.

Also need to pop to Lidl...Have a good day everyone xxx

It's taken about four years to pay off 30k and yes it was done by cutting back and focusing on the goal. We have cut back gradually as it really doesn't work on cutting back on everything all at once. We found different ways like switching energy providers, food, nights out, etc. You will find ways of cutting back and also release that there are some things you really still 'need'. For these items you need to find ways to get them cheaper eg your foundation .

I wish I was motivated to do surveys but I just simply can't be bothered. Seems like they take forever to build up, but I do read a few diaries where people do so well earning things like Amazon vouchers.

Back at work today - Monday mornings are 10 times worse after over a week off!!

Tomorrow is the dreaded MOT!!! Let's all pray for a miracle!!

One week until pay day, apart from petrol I need to have zero spend days until then...if it is possible!

Have a good day anyone reading this xxx

It was completley awful!! To the sound of £390!!!:eek::eek: I then spent money in Tesco and Boots on a few holiday clothes and few toiletries costing me £46.67 so I am -£436.67!! Took this from the money I have aside to pay my dad back (£1000/£7000) so will replace this on payday on the 15th.

August won't be a successful debt paying back month...but at least it won't increase, that's the plan anyway. I will be getting a quartlery bonus it isn't massive but better than nothing but payslips don't go live until day before pay day so can't see how much! Normally isn't anything great as get taxed loads/student loan comes off higher than usual/national insurrance increases.

In August what I am needing is -

Holiday spending money £250 - long weekend in Barcelona, should be enough providing I resist the shops!
    Dog Haircut £40
Increased dog walking days this money - £60 on top of my £40 but that is in my budget
Eyebrows waxed and tinted - £10
    Haircut - £15

I will pay back this months overspend and I am hoping to pay off an additional £500. I have increased my direct debit payment to Virgin credit card from £50 to £100 so that will be an extra £650 coming off my total in August.

I hope it is do-able!! I did make a £200 overpayment at the start of this months pay so going over budget on the month of my MOT and the caravan fiasco £236.67 isn't too bad...oh and the skincare splurge, had that not happened and weekend away I would have came in on budget....but we all know I clearly can't budget and that is what I am in this mess!! But I am doing SO much better at budgetting and managing my money for the first time in my life!!
