Perhaps the tall stones are there for mooring the escape dinghy when the river floods? (Think it's edge of Flood Zone 3 but the aerial is total murk.)
Other possibility being they came from an area with lots of these druidic type standing stones around and wanted to "feel at home". Maybe they're from West Wales then - as there's loads of stones like it here.0 -
But the vendors will be self-selecting and enjoy what's on offer.
Still, it's amusing what Mr &Mrs Clarke might do with something very averagely priced, like this:

Love the 'games room.' Interesting bathroom facilities too. Make a feature I'm sure.
I would love the EA to advertise and take photos of a wreck house - damp black mould, tree growing through window, nothing been updated in 50 years.
They would put a croissant on a plate with a cafeteria of coffee in one of the photos:rotfl:0 -

Here's a better one in a rather odd 32 acre 'garden' near me:

With this one, http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-65367104.html, I don't mind of close up photos of original features such as fireplaces, flooring. It's the close ups of cushions, soap dispensers, kettle etc which are the vendor's property and will be taking them when they do move.
If the vendor has a dog, it has to be included in at least one photo.
I suspect that their approach to selling would be equally enthusiastic.
If I lived in their patch I would certainly consider using them.0 -
Nah, standing stones are getting as common as muck all over the place nowadays, although some people can't seem to do them right. A good example of getting it wrong is Barnhenge in Barnstaple:

Tried your link Dave - and it took so long to load that one "loses the will to live" and when it finally loaded = it wasn't actually there....
Now we're talking really "mysterious":rotfl:0 -
I think they do a brilliant job. Like it or not I think it conveys a very professional approach.

I'd investigate them if they were in my patch - as the houses look modern in the way they've been done (though I do find the old-fashioned name - ie "Mr and Mrs his surname only" offputting personally).
I chose the EA that sold my last house partly because they'd got by far the best photos of any of them.0 -

Garden parties could prove tricky here with the only access being through the bathroom!
