Las Vegas unlike nearly every other holiday destination you may have visited. In Vegas the hotels ARE the attractions. Most have a huge casino attached, but if you think that's all there is to the place, you are sorely mistaken! Each hotel is very different, with its own theme and attractions.

The good news is, is that Vegas can be a friend for us Money Saving Experts, with lots of free attractions, cheap eats/drinks and value for money to be had.

This page cannot hope to cover everything, but should point you towards some good money saving tips. All information at the start of this thread is put together by members of the forum and is accurate at the time of writing - we will update it when we can.

After reading the 'information' posts at the start of this thread, feel free to ask a question and join the discussion! We have lots of Vegas regulars contributing to this thread - join the gang!

    Thanks pebblesmax.

We will just use OH facebook, we wouldnt be gambling seperately in Vegas anyway, so one Mlife account/card would be ok.

Which leads me onto another question...

I have read Stuies instructions for adding friends etc, but before that stage - Does my OH register on Mlife first, and can she link her facebook account to Mlife during the Mlife registration process ?

Sorry for the dumb newbie queries !!

    Hi all, quick question.

Currently planning and booking what will be my second trip for November. It'll be 3 of us this time sharing a double queen room.

When doing some hotel quotes with 2 people in that room the prices are a good wedge cheaper than if booking with 3 people. My question is can you get away with booking for two adults and having 3 in the room?

Oh and whilst I'm here, is 4 hotels for a two week stay a bit OTT?

Haven't been since 2015 but have managed to book 3 nights at the MGM and 3 nights at the Bellagio, all fully comped bar the resort fees. Was going to book 4 nights at The Linq and and trying to working out the remaining hotel having not ruled out downtown yet if any one has suggestions!

Just realised, this isn't a quick question!! Thanks in advance though.

    Hi Dannodw,

Not sure I can answer your question in full but I don't think 4 hotels in two weeks is a bad idea, just remember all the packing and unpacking you'd have to do, I hate doing that so on my last trip I stayed where I was for the six nights. I was very happy with my choice of where to stay though. I would suggest though that you save the best till last so don't compare everything to the first amazing suite you might have booked.

I have no experience of extra people in rooms being a solo traveller most of the time so can't give you advice on that i'm afraid. Not sure if Stuie did something like that on his trip a while back?

    Hope that helps a little.
