    Before I post the new Puzzler Collection answers - can someone look at this for me. I know I have probably made some errors, but I think the phrase from the unused letters is: persistence is the key to making anything successful.

    ERA is middle of next to bottom row, not 2nd row.

    USE is middle of row 2, not in next to bottom row.

    DAD (clue = parent) is vertical in 4th column from row 1.

    IDEA (clue = notion) is vertical from row 3, column 3

    This results in your answer.
