It's quite clearly two eggs cut in half and the better looking halves used in one photo. The lack of symmetry of the two halves demonstrates this.

I agree that the picture may be misleading, showing the roll in the best possible light, but that is one egg ultimately. It's like when you see sandwiches front-filled across the cut live with nothing in the back.0
