I have just taken advantage of this for return flights to Heathrow from Newcastle.

    I wasn't aware this section was destination or mode of transport specific - which it isn't.

    No - it is this. From the sticky:
    This board is literally just for reporting (as the title says) Holiday Deals, Holiday Bargains and any Special Offers on holidays, only!

    So whilst this is a great offer, it is not a holiday by itself.

    And it is a subforum of the Overseas board, although I will agree that it fits the remit of the flights forum pretty well.
