  • Dave, you need to start your own thread. This thread is actually for discussing signatures (so I don't think anyone much is reading it :D )
I was a board guide here for many years, but have now resigned. Amicably, but I think it reflects very poorly on MSE that I have not even received an acknowledgement of my resignation! Poor show, MSE.

This signature was changed on 6.4.22. This is an experiment to see if anyone from MSE picks up on this comment.
  • I've tried this following the instructions, I get this error message "Unfortunately due to misuse in the past we can't allow links in signatures (live or inactive)"
  • My Signature Permissions are as follows (I've highlighted the HTML options:

    Allow Basic BB Code Yes
    Allow Color BB Code Yes
    Allow Size BB Code Yes
    Allow Font BB Code Yes
    Allow Alignment BB Code Yes
    Allow List BB Code Yes
    Allow Link BB Code Yes
    Allow HTML No
    Allow Image BB Code No
    Allow Code BB Code No
    Allow PHP BB Code No
    Allow HTML BB Code No
    Allow Quote BB Code Yes
    Allow Smilies Yes
Can Upload Images for Signature No
Can Upload Animated GIF for Signature No

Is this the same for everyone that can add links to their signature? Is there a way I can change those HTML permissions to yes?
  • Mine doesn't work either :(
    Disappointing.

Is everyone else still getting the error message? Pretty annoyed that there's been no communication from the board guides or officials on this thread seeing as so many people are having problems :/

I'm new and not sure if I'm posting this in the correct place!

My partner has a overdraft with Halifax that sits at £2500dr. It has been like this for several years. He gets paid weekly and transfers his wages straight to his savings account. He's getting nowhere in reducing the overdraft because he is charged £90 per month for the privilege. He reckons Haifax won't help him set up a repayment plan but I'm not convinced. Please can anyone give the best advice on how to get out of this 'catch 22' situation. Thank you 😊
  • yep, im getting the message too :(

Can you help please
  • Eek added up my debts , been avoiding it tbh, and it’s a big nos and has grown in 2020 which has alarmed me as lockdown has I thought helped to  curtail spending, or so I thought! So I owe almost £28k which consists of credit cards at 0% and a loan. I’ve read some diaries and inspired me, so I’ve decided to continue to pay the min and then spare cash pay off the smallest debt , so the snowball effect. I’m also starting the 1p challenge to pay for Xmas as that usually ends up on a card. Plus I must reduce my grocery spending and track it as I’ve no idea how much I spend on food etc each month. My aim to clear this so I can have some savings in readiness for when I retire in approx 7 1/2 years, although I hope I will get a reasonable works pension, another thing I need to Bette understand rather than bury my head,
