And my other news before I go and do something useful.

Actually not officially news yet, (def not telling OH yet as it feels like 75% of his depot have some sort of life threatening ailment or illness and/or their immediate family has and he comes home daily from work and tells me in full and graphic details what sort of day everyone has and how they are doing with their treatments and medicines etc even though I don't know any of these people at all)

Not officially news yet and we wont know anything really for a few weeks. My youngster sister (the middle one of 3) has found a breast lump, been to the docs and had her scan appointment. They tried to do biopsies but apparently it was too mobile so she had to go back to have the biopsies done under a scan (does that make sense to anyone) So she is black and blue and very tender and it looks like she has been in a cage fight :D

Doc says its cancerous but no official diagnosis yet and more tests to come yet, not sure what and when. To add to the fun they are off to Oz in a week on a business trip for 3 weeks - they do trade stands and this trip has been planned for 12 months since the last one. So they are trying to rush things through but obviously things are going to stall until they get back.

In the meantime she is not unwell, she is feeling perfectly healthy so we are taking it in a very matter of fact fashion until an official diagnosis is announced.

About 18 months ago she had a fall (drink induced) which resulted in a hip replacement and they initially she had Osteoporosis so she had bone scans and then six months later said she hadn't so as you can imagine confidence in medics is not very high. Apart from that she has had no other health issues.

So we are in limbo for the next few weeks until we get to the next stage of tests

Sorry to hear this mhoc, sending you all positive thoughts xx

Exactly - there are not enough swear words in the world

and yes it is happening too much now - every family seems to have at least one person with it

    hi folks

i have on my nectar account that if i convert some nectar points into a viking voucher code i get back so many points.

this is what it says but it doesnt say what you can use the converted points on.

Has anyone done this if so what did it work on

    tia

    1. Redeeming during the validity period entitles you to points back, if you purchase a £10 voucher you receive 300 points, £25 voucher (750 points), £50 voucher (1,500 points), £75 voucher (2,500 points), £100 (3,000 points). 2. The voucher is not valid in conjunction with other Viking vouchers, offers and discounts. 3. The voucher may only be redeemed at the time of ordering and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit against prior purchases (one Voucher per transaction). 4. Each voucher is valid to use at Viking for a minimum of 6 months from the date of issue. 5. Nectar points cannot be collected on any element of a transaction which is paid for by redeeming vouchers. 6. Only one set of bonus points will be awarded per Nectar Primary Collector as part of this offer (irrespective of the number of exchanges that are made during the offer period) and the number of bonus points awarded will be based on the single exchange using the most Nectar points.

My £50 netbet TCB claim from last March has gone payable!

First it didn't track, then it was declined because I "didn't meet the minimum wagering requirement" and since then I've done a monthly nudge to get them to chase on my behalf. I was just going to do my latest nudge when I saw the message saying they've received it.

Bizarrely I have to click "accept offer and close claim" to get the money in my account. It doesn't show on my earnings screen at all

edit: i clicked "accept" and it's now payable in my account :money:

Looks like maccyDs are doing the same as BK, I got this this morning.
I don't need the code so if someone uses it that's fine.
