So the building work is almost finished. The kitchen floor went down yesterday. All that's left is the skirting boards and plumbing in of washer and dishwasher, should be done Monday. Painter is doing the doors Monday too.

Have spent a fortune on the finishing touches. Everything is paid for now and there should be enough left in the pot to do the bedrooms and hall, hopefully dining room too. I'm itching to get on with the rest of the decorating now, I just want it all done.

Got another £20 voucher from work yesterday, got £60 worth now, aiming to spend them next Friday when I've got a day off work. Will have a potter round town in the morning - you can guarantee I won't see anything to buy, I never do when I've got the money. I'm also meeting friends for lunch, looking forward to it.

Yesterday I had a cut and blow dry at a new hairdressers (my regular one closed down last month). They did a fab job and for only £3 more than my old hairdressers, so happy with that. Bonus is it's only at the end of my road.

Booked in Mr SA's wheelchair assistance for the airport, can't do without that he just can't walk that far and it would be a nightmare without it.

DS and family came today, it was chaos, the kids were playing up big time and I'm not ashamed to say I was relieved when they went home.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far :)

Forgot to say Jet2 pre-booked our seats for Lanzarote at no charge when they saw we had two holidays booked with them. I didn't realise I hadn't booked seats. Fab customer service.

Watching Radio 1 live at Cafe Mambo at the moment, can't wait to go there again, just over two weeks to go.
