    I think as your phone is playing up I would open them as you get them in the shop - keep your head down and ignore anyone waiting for the self scan machine.
    That at least will slow things down so that there will be the 1 minite gap between transactions
    I also tend to open the envelopes at home - I opened 2 in Marks this morning whilst we were in the cafe, both prize draws :(

    Just had a series of messages from Eldest child regarding her Christmas list - I think she has cottoned on, knows the budget is open ended and I am quite happy to run with any ideas as long as everything is purposeful, practical, useful - possibly also fun, quirky, indulgent :)
    And she has tried to think of other things that are not just joint house presents :)

    So I've been doing the research and so far nearly £300 in the Amazon basket :eek:
    I think I need to buy some gift cards :D

    Also a warning for anyone who has been hoarding gift cards and e vouchers all year in readiness for Christmas lists - before the madness fully starts go and check the balances and expiry dates

    Whilst in the Marks cafe this morning I was looking at my Marks credit notes. I've got a clear small pencil case for them and any Marks discount codes and vouchers to kerp them all together.

    These credit notes have a one year expiry dates on them so I keep them in date order. I was aghast to find I had 2 expring - one early December and one mid December :eek:
    NEarly £60 worth :eek:
    So I just bought some bed sheet packs for now so at least I dont have to worry about them expiring. But then the 20% off kicked in so I got a smaller credit note back so I got thick tights with that.

    Good overall, I think fairly predictable.
    Used different Stores to usual, wearing bobble hat and glasses as a disguise, no problems. :rotfl:Even managed to use decent APG's in A Living - got plenty of clothes etc for GK's for Christmas (can we use that word now?)
