It's lovely to 'find' money isn't it, even though it was ours to start with?:j
Great news about the greenhouse, Kantankerus:T. What a nice Dad you have too. You certainly work hard, what with a tiring job and an allotment too. Plus, I think you mentioned doing various fitness activities as well. I really admire your energy and get-up-and-go:beer:0 -

Quick look at my eBay sales (which finish today) and I have £82 in sales at this point. I'll be happy with that I will have to deduct eBay and paypal fees (unless buyers collect and pay cash) and so I will update my total when all of those costs have gone through.
Hope everyone else is doing wellDFW Nerd No. 1484 LBM 07/01/15 Debt was £95k  Now debt free and happy :j0 -
Well done on the sales, January:T
I've been loading my car with the stuff I've found to sell at tomorrow morning's tabletop sale. Looks a sorry selection:eek:. Most of the more saleable stuff has already gone, I'm down to the dregs now. Maybe a couple more sales and I'll have nothing worth taking to make the pitch fee and petrol cost remotely worth while:(0 -
Hi all This challenge is definitely inspiring. I emailed a company today about a canned food product that I had received that was dented. When I opened the tin I found the contents to be mouldy. Normally I would have just shrugged my shoulder, had a moan and left it at that. Instead this time I emailed the company that had sold me the can to report what had happened. Just received a reply from them to say they welcomed my feedback and were refunding £10 back to my account as a gesture of goodwill! What a result?! Adding the £10 to my total on here.
£70.03/£310

When checking my bank account I found I was £10 short on my total. After re-reading all my posts I've realised I've counted the same £10 twice!! (Is it any wonder I have money problems?!!)
Not to worry I will just keep plodding on.

Don't you just love those last minute flurry of bids on eBay :rotfl:
Final sales total was £154. Less £15.95 in eBay fees  and £2.67 in paypal fees (some buyers collecting and paying cash fortunately). Total eBay sales income will be £135.68. Add that to the £89.07 already made so far from online book and dvd sales, together with a further £11.37 cheque received from Zapper today (online book sales) and my new total for March is £236.12 :j:jDFW Nerd No. 1484 LBM 07/01/15 Debt was £95k  Now debt free and happy :j0 -
