I always read this thread to see if there are any ideas I could make use of but today I am actually going to post!
- Earnt £95 pre tax by doing 5 hours overtime at work yesterday
- Mystery shop yesterday earnt me £5 plus a free panini and hot chocolate
- Went for a bit of luxury last night and ordered an Indian Takeaway for myself. However it took 1 hr 45 mins to arrive and then I had to reheat it in the microwave so I have been given 50% off my next order which will mean a cheap takeaway in the poor month of January. I will go and collect it next time so I don't have to wait!
- Today is going to be a NSD cleaning, putting up decorations etc
- Research local plumbers to get the best quote to put in a new bath (current one has a big hole in it and the person who damaged it is paying for a new one)
- Make a batch of spiced parsnip soup for this weeks lunches using parsnips from the garden
- Blanche and freeze the remaining parsnips to eat over winter
- Batch cook some chilli for dinner tonight and freeze/refridgerate remaining portions
- Heating off for as long as possible
- Free listing weekend on ebay I believe so relist all unsold items on the off chance someone wants to bid this close to Christmas
- Swagbucks
- Sign up to some more mystery shopping sites

The units were newly installed by the housing association but they had left big holes in the walls, hence us decorating. We spend just £35 decorating the kitchen.:DDebt-free day: 8th May 2015 The Joy Account: £10 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -

Consider lagging the bath while you're having it replaced. You may be surprised but using loft insulation/newspapers/bubble wrap around your bath will keep the water hotter for longer and therefore save top ups and hot water, which saves energy and money. All you need to do is tape it on the underside of the bath. Good afternoon everyone, I almost forgot to post today so I really need to try and get back into the habit, as posting will help.
Plans for today:
Take kids to see their granny – will get free dinner there
Do some course work as I have a couple of assessments to complete next week
Put the heating off whilst we are out
LSD as will need to get fuel
Do some of the washing – will put a load on just before I go out
Put a promotion on Facebook in the hope of getting some bookings for my party plan business
Put new promotional poster on my car before going to MIL in the hope of generating some interest for my business whilst driving
I think that is everything that I need to do today so I best make a start as fancy getting an early night, as got a busy week next week.0
