    What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

    Do you update on particular days shaggy? Don't bother about updating just for me, just do it next time, currently I'm 11/21 ALD's, so past halfway.

    Last night was a struggle, I really wanted more than that one glass of wine, but I managed to resist nipping up to Tesco's for more. I didn't listen to that inner voice saying, 'go on, just one night won't hurt'. So just 2 nights to go, and I should complete my second week of being under 21 units.

    Delighted for you. Will you stay AF then?


    :T on resisting the 'going out for more' voices chuck. Many people finding limiting the alcohol in the house is the best way forward and others deliberately change into PJs to stop themselves going out.

    18/29 for me today, declaring now for tonight because there is possibly a bottle of cava coming into the house with a friend who is coming to dinner!! If I declare now I will resist and enjoy my alcohol free shandy instead!!
    OH also going well 7 days now but doubt whether he will resist the cava but he will be back on track tomorrow.

    Yes that's why I don't stock up now, it creates a barrier that gives me time to reconsider before pouring a glass of wine. I'm now 12/21 ALD's

    Back on the wagon today. Pleased that I didn't open a bottle yesterday. I just finished off the bottle from Saturday and the one I had in readiness in the fridge has gone back in the wine rack. Lots of social events this week but will be moderate.
