    Morning all
    Mending pile cleared so a bit of fabric used to patch ds1s ripped jeans and some felt used to make letters for a gold bag (a prop for the school play)

    Hope everyone is well.
    I'm another one who's always got a massive list of things I want to do in my head and a huge amount on Pinterest. I have various projects on the go as there's always done knitting crochet crossstitch and sewing simultaneously worked on.

    Oh well, I managed to get card finished for DGS's birthday next month. I got the idea from http://all-inked-up-sharon.blogspot.co.uk/ It will be perfect for him.

    That's me finished with cards for a bit, unless I can squeeze in one more to complete April cards. I'll be taking the hem up on some trousers for mu holiday. I'm off to India with a friend next week. We're leaving our OHs at home to look after the pets. I've done all the cards that will be needed before I get home.

    Finally shortened 2 pairs of light cotton trousers I bought in last years' sales - in time for going on holiday next week, lol

    I also repaired the strap on DDiL's handbag.

    Sorry I'm really busy at mo so not about as much as I'd like.

    Most bizarre thing I've made so far has to be last nights creeation, I'd been asked to make the gold bag for the school play, so improvised a small rucksack by adding 'gold' in felt lettering on the front and packing it with a tin filled with nuts and bolts fir the rattle plus a towel to pack it out. They must have been impressed with that as I got a rush order for a pot belly for friar tuck-that used up some fabric, bias binding for straps and a bit of stuffing.

    I've been really distracted as I've been packing for my holiday.

    I've come on to admire everyone's work as today is technically annual leave from work but I'm going to be manic getting stuff done.

    I may have dropped the ball and we're going to be in Mexico for two weeks missing Mother's Day as well as my mother's birthday. Usually I'd make some thing for one of them - but she'll be getting flowers today - as she always gets flowers for one. And I'm hoping to buy her some nice silver jewellery in mixico for her birthday. When I realised what I'd done I ran the plan by her - and she said she was fine with it. But I should have noticed sooner. I was too excited when I booked.
