I love my TD and wouldn't be without it - yes it eats leccy, but so does my iron, so I try to hot fold straight out of the TD and then I don't have to iron it (as I hate it) and it saves the iron leccy as well. 2 birds and all that!

For some reason the idea of a light in the tumble dryer made me giggle. I stopped using ours to save on the leccy - though obviously less of a saving than it would have been had there been a lightbut sometimes the wet washing draped over the airer in front of the stove does seem never ending.
