    Thanks Tink, she's so small!
My sister is in bits, understandably, but I've developed a sore throat to go along with my pains and I'm worried about passing it on. My parents are with them at the moment so I'm just waiting for an update xx

Update: Lumbar puncture came back a bit early and is all clear! We are all so relieved!!

They are happy with her white blood cell results and she is now on her way home with mummy and daddy who only have 1 day of paternity leave left before daddy goes back to work. I'm so happy they will get tomorrow together out of the hospital.

I'm still feeling utterly rough tummy wise, and have managed to get tonsillitis to go along with my cold so it's hurting to swallow and I still can't go and have cuddles :(

Thanks for your lovely thoughts and prayers about little one, and for thinking of me :)

I fell very blessed to have so much support both in RL and on here :D

I'm feeling very rough still, tummy pains are coming and going rather than constant but my chest is tight, tonsils are killing and I have a constant runny nose. I keep waking up in the night convinced that I'm choking which makes me panic and I may or may not have accidentally belted OH in the side during one episode :o quite a rude awakening for him.

I'm stressing about work and money at the moment, and the fact I forgot that 2 of OHs friends are on their honeymoon in Europe and are arriving at ours this evening for 2 days...whilst I feel rough I know this isn't something that can be cancelled so I dragged myself to sainsbobs and did some shopping, then had to have a nap when I got home...so rock and roll!!

My plan for the next 4 weeks is to make extra monies up the amount I will be missing out on next month thanks so this sick week - so need to make approx £420. I've made £50 on ebay this month which is sitting in paypal, I've got £100 in my emergency fund but I don't want to have to touch that....£30 switching cashback came through from cheap energy club so when that clears I can add that to the total. Am also expecting a cheque from ziffit for £20 for DVDs....it all adds up!

£150 is a good start towards your shortfall. Sorry you have to entertain when you are feeling so rough. Is your OHs friend also still there?

Ohs friend is sort of still here Bob, he comes and goes at the moment so he's gone travelling for a week or so to explore Wales. Very handy when we have other guests and only one spare room!

I am definitely not the hostess with the mostest this weekend. A trip to sainsbobs ended in a nap, cooking dinner meant another nap and today we nipped out for something to eat for lunch to save cooking and I ended up having a 2 hour nap when we got home (we were only out for an hour!!). I'm utterly exhausted, They have gone off to the cinema tonight and I'm currently in bed with 2 glasses of water and my laptop, having already nodded off twice. I feel rotten! It seems to have made it's way onto my chest and I'm really struggling to breathe - spent an hour in a hot bath which helped while I was in there (won't help the water bill mind :o)

Tummy is still playing up too. Not as badly or as often but when the cramps start, they really start!

I'm feeling very sorry for myself today - not that you'd have guessed :rotfl: doesn't help that I'm trying to be good and not PAD which means I'm getting frustrated that my snowball isn't looking like it should :(

I'm going to go and get some more sleep before I depress everyone with my miserableness! Hope all is well elsewhere :) x

  • Feel better soon Kirsty. I'm with you this weekend and feeling utterly rubbish myself. My plans for today include slob, slob and slob - hope that you get to do the same.
