MPPI Commission 14th Feb 18 at 8:35 AM
    Good Morning

I recently had a letter from my local Building Society informing me that although my PPI claim was rejected I could still make a claim associated with the commission I was charged. It then says ring your local branch. I was a bit peeved my PPI claim was rejected so would like to persue this. Has anyone out there made a claim like this? Could someone tell me if it really is as simple as giving the branch a ring and them saying Yes/No or is there a sample letter to fill in (like the PPI claim) or details I need to find first? I'm just really wanting to be prepared before I make contact incase i get the brush off.

    Thanks
    Shaun

Yes, others have made complaints under Plevin.

Contact your branch and they will check the commission level. No brushes involved.

    Plenty

The branch dont handle it. The complaints team do. Visit their website for details.

Don't get your hopes up for a big figure. MPPI commission is typically below the tipping point. It is only the profitshare that takes it over. So, refunds on excess commission over the tipping point tend to be low with MPPI. Still worth it but you are typically talking hundreds rather than thousands.

MPPI also has different dates to loan and credit card PPI in respect of Plevin. The mortgage must have been bought before 31st October 2004 and the MPPi must still be in force by 6th April 2008
