Hi All, not sure if this is an old article but I wanted to bring to your attention a cheaper alternative for trading. It's call De Giro. I have been using for a little and their fees are by far the cheapest at £1.75 +0.004%.
Let me know your thoughts

Are we allowed to discuss individual shares in this thread? If so, I would like some views on 'Lloyds Banking Group plc (LLOY)' as a long-term investment. After the turmoil they have been through, they would appear to have got their **** together, and I certainly like them as a bank to deal with, nice UI, great customer services, decent enough range of products, but that doesn't mean much at the top-end. Would their financials suggest the 60-70p mark is about their upper range, or could we see a return to the glory days for them?
They have announced good results this morning according to TV though I cant find anything online. Will be interesting to see if the shares jump this morning or if the news was alreday priced in.0 -

Lloyds can be 100p, apart from now paying a dividend I cant remember why that was no longer considered possible.
Not sure I like them buying MBNA but its probably fine for now

Any recommendations for free sms share price alerts? No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Put in a complaint direct and if they don't resolve your issue, head straight to the financial ombudsman - it costs the company £550 in referral fees, win or lose.0

Don't know on sms, I use Stock - realtime quote quotes app which I setup alerts
Yes, a few options, but I was hoping for a text (sms) alert. There is an option to tweek Google, but not ideal.
Text alerts would be perfect for myself, mainly for selling, if there is an option. When buying, I like to monitor, although I do also submit 'limit orders'.No payments from financial products from cash back sites?
