Alice Holt Forest situated some 4 miles south of Farnham forms the most northerly gateway to the South Downs National Park.

We just get child tax credits so am I right in thinking we would remain on tax credits as me giving up work wouldn't mean we get any other legacy benefits (just more child tax credits)?

A new claim for a legacy benefit triggers natural migration. Because your husband works you cannot claim JSA (IB) but you may be eligible for JSA (CB) , also there is WTC (if you become eligible for this but are not already claiming it) or if because of your lower combined income you become eligible for HB.

In all cases eligibility alone doesn't trigger the change, you have to make the claim. If you do claim UC you may find you are sanctioned for leaving your last job.

    Yes.
As you won't be claiming any income-based benefits due to giving up work.

Check your award - it is likely you are getting WTC as well but that you don't get any payments of it because of your income levels.
