  • Sat yesterday to try & figure out how I am going to reach each of the target amounts for these stashes.

    God it's a lot of work & planning so it is!

    Think I will need to go through them one at a time to get it set right in my mind what I am going to need to do.

    Update
    So ordered some currency yesterday, got the best rate at Ramsdens so I need to collect it on 28 April 2017 at my local branch.

    Ordered $500 USD & $1500 CAD the rest of the spends we will put on our credit card when we are away, hoping we come back with some spare cash but that has never happened before so we will see!

    23 days to go!

    Did you get a better rate on your currency since the announcement of the general election ? It was reported that the pound was at a 2 1/2 month high.
    0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
    House sale OCT 2022 = NOW MORTGAGE FREE 🤗
    House purchase completed FEB 2023 🥳🍾 Left work. 🤗

    Retired at 55 & now living off the equity £10k a year (until pensions start at 60 & 67).

    Update
    Well we had a fabulous time in Canada, drove through to the USA aswell when we where there. Trip came in just a couple of hundred under budget so we paid that extra to the CC.

    Plan is to be debt free by December 2017 so that will help along the way with that!

    Onto the next stash :rotfl:
