Wombling - Tesco questioned my receipts :/

Has anyone had trouble putting points on their cards from wombled receipts?

I found approx 30 tesco receipts so I put them into bunches of 4 or 5 with different dates and have taken them to different tescos over a few days.

Is this right? As today one woman asked if they belonged to me? I said my husband forgot to put the points on. She then asked how often I shop at tesco. I said generally everyday which I do for bits and bobs and for tea.

She was reluctant to put them on for me and I felt extremely embarrassed stood in the queue.

Am I doing something wrong?

I would be suprised if Tesco condone the practice but I don't think it's illegal however if you make a point of "sorting" them into innocent looking bunches then it does seem that you feel its dodgy.

However I doubt that anyone else in the queue was bothered and as long as your conscience is clear and you continue to get point for nothing then I am not sure what the problem is.
