I may as well give this a go as my cupboards are full as ever and I still seem to be at the co-op picking up things I don't need. Put be down for £175. for Nov.
I also had better pledge to put £50 extra in my ISA if I manage this!0 -
Can I change from a monthly amount to £56 per week. Thank-you. My week is Monday to Sunday.
Good luck to everyone, Christmas is a looming but I must try to stay within budget and do some cooking in advance.0 -

Just back from Mr T. Spend of £44.82 more for November and £30.46 for Xmas items which will come off the December budget. Used £5 off £40 vouchers up.
Messed up a little as I thought the 15% off if you buy 3 or more bottles of wine was for online orders only!!! Ought to have guessed as the shelves were very bare! DH very happy though as we now have 4 half price bottles of wine towards Xmas with an extra £3 off too!:j
Now have all November meals so just the milk, bread and perishables to buy weekly. Should be easy with nearby Mr A. Hope those are not famous last words as I really want to keep to budget for my first monthly challenge.
Nov GC 172.89/250July 16 £95/£200

Please may I join??? I'm a student and live in a flat of 3. We all take turns to cook for one another once a week so that's two main meals I don't have to worry about...
Aiming for a budget of £100 for this month.....
I try and eat healthy and eat a lot of fresh fruit and veg. I also eat a lot of fish and I'm gluten free and GF stuff is SO expensive. But as well as all of this I do have expensive taste!!!0 -
Not quite a grocery shop as my pet food comes out of a separate budget but I am so pleased that I felt the need to post. My pet food budget is £60 a month for food and treats for a large dog and a cat.
Walking round pets at home I spot that Felix pouches are 4 for £10 that's 12 pouches per box. 48 pouches in all for £10! That will feed my cat for two months. I look again and the boxes also have free samples of Felix crispies cat treats in each one. So if anyone has cats I would recommend getting yourself down to a pets at home! Also like the Felix FB page and they will send you a free sample too.
So my budget being £60 I did spend £69 but for that I got
Wainwrights dry puppy food 15kg - lasts a month
4 boxes of Felix pouches - 48 pouches will last two months
2 boxes of 28 dentastixs - 2 for £15 will last dog two months
Large raw hide chew
Whiskas dry cat food 2kg - lasts just over a month
Months worth of free cat treats from boxes
I also had a 10% off voucher for joining their VIP
I over spent by £9 but I can recoup that from next months budget which I can reduce to £50That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!
