I love swimming toi and its been nice having spent a week in the sun and with access to a pool. When I was young, I always thought I'd have 'made' it if I had my own swimming pool. I guess I'll have to settle for the children's paddling pool for now!!

Even if you don't hit your target by the end of the year, it could be a nice pick me up for early spring.

OMG I so wanted a house with a pool when I was little! Yep paddling pool for me too :rotfl:.

I know making that amount of money by xmas is a long shot, but it's a challenge and I do like a good challenge.

I still think when I grow up I need to live either somewhere with a pool or on the shore of a lake/the sea so I can swim daily - but having spent time with friends who have a 12m pool at their house I realise it's actually cheaper to just use the pool at a gym!

Scuba I know you love swimming in open water but it would scare the **** out of me not knowing what was swimming around my feet.
I can imagine the upkeep of a pool costs a fortune, especially heating it.

I find I'm more scared of the idiots swimming around me than wildlife since on the whole fish and marine creatures are more scared of you than you need to be of them, but I used to be terrified of fish - couldn't even paddle if there were fish I could see in the water!

I have one £bay item ending today and nothing left to list:(.

  • £bay sale and £2 to hols pot - £35.73 to go, £2.24 a day.

Also forgot to mention I nipped into Mr S whilst in town to get some salad bits and cheese, used £5 of nectar points, so hopefully won't need to do an online shop until Friday, I have £16 in my purse if we do need anything, although i'm trying to eek everything out.
