    i remember when the local boots was offering Olay from £20 to £5 and it spat out a £5 voucher off for Olay products, the freebe also generated a new voucher. By the end of the lunch hour, the voucher was recycled around the office and the store was empty of the stuff. needless to say my OH

    Oh this is worse than Corrie! What happened with your OH? Did he erm, cover himself in Olay and kiss the mirror, saying "Who's a pretty boy then"!

    Regarding the coupon not immediately scanning, and the SA refusing it, why not try saying "Oh, I'm so sorry. So that I don't make a mistake again, can you just explain to me please what is wrong with the coupon". :cool:

    ohhh thank you so much. I still have one of the 86p things from last time and I'm making a hamper for my Gran and this radiance booster along with the wash will be brilliant to go in with it... And my local shopping mall (including boots) is open until 9pm tonight, hurrah!

    You need to spend over £5 to get a voucher, so do some shopping get a voucher then go back and get the serum!

    I will give it a try if I see some, but just thought I would pre-warn less experienced Bootsers, that these glitches are often down to luck and determination.
    Luck on who is on the till etc,
    and determination....do you want to keep trying at different tills and on different days if you get refused first time:cool:

    My Boots SAs are the same - they'll put through any voucher you like as long as the till won't beep, but if it does, tough luck, they will very rarely override it.
