Hi,
Is it a letter before claim ?
A claim form, or just a letter asking for money ?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Northampton is where all the claims are started, then they get moved, usually near to the defendant.
You probably have 14 days to reply, but an Acknowledgement of Service gives you 14 more for free, so it's probably worth doing.
You can make a Part 18 Claim, which is a request for information, so they have to tell you everything they know which is relevant. A judge will want to know more than, "This bloke owes me nearly a grand, so can you make him pay ?"
The Claim should have been preceded by a Letter Before Claim, at least 28 days before the Claim ; but it could have been years ago.0 -
I don't understand
Amount due 886,31 ( warrant)
Why have you put the word warrant in there?
Also 'our client' - That phrase would not be on a court claim0
