Want to sell Banco Santander shares

Is there a cheap way to sell Banco Santander shares for someone who doesn't have access to the internet?

They are the only shares they hold - and were free (due to a past demutualisation). It's not worth setting up a trading account as they have no interest in holding any more shares.

Not sure if the shares are paper or electronic ones.

if they are electronic ones and held within the Santander shareholder account then the only way to sell them is through that and its expensive! - see here

if you have a paper certificate then go to any high street bank and deal over the counter - costs about £25 - £25 commission

There are several suggestions here which you could investigate - http://www.santandershareholder.co.uk/buy_and_sell/selling_shares
