Has it been released yet please?

Seems to be calculated by Sep CPI in previous years?

Last year seems to have been publicised on 18 October 2011.

Other forums seem to think circa 5750 for mini cash.

Have I missed something (again!)?

does it really matter, it will only be a matter of a few hundred pounds, if that and you can't open an account till April 2013 - do something about this years if you havn't done so already

    How very rude.

Thought this was a forum for sharing information not for displaying lack of manners?

Thanks to those who have been more constructive.

PS This years is full - hence why I wanted to gauge how much I could fill next years.

    Boo hoo

Yes it does matter. I like to plan well in advance. Does anyone yet know what the allowance will be, please?

We will all find out on Wednesday, when the Chancellor gives his Autumn Statement.

Given the September CPI, it should be £11580 total, £5790 cash, but the Chancellor might announce something else, round it up etc...

    Wait until Wednesday!

No, no-one knows yet (except a few people like George Osborne who aren't likely to spill the beans).

    Already discussed earlier this year

It's based on September CPI figure which is known already.

If you read it you will note there are some assumptions which are clearly stated.
So until Wednesday it is correct to say no-one KNOWS.
We can of course take an educated guess but no-one actually knows until Weds.
I wasn't trying to picky, I was trying to be helpful in stating the factual sitaution.

George Osborne could decide to have no ISa or radically change the system, I think that's unlikely and most likely the status quo will continue, but he fact is no-one knows and I believe the requests were for factual information although the educated guesses may of course be interesting to some.
