When to book Mexico holiday

We like to go the Caribbean for a couple of weeks at the end of November and have learnt to leave a booking until September to get discounted prices.
This year we might give Mexico a try. Does anyone know if we are likely to benefit from a discount if we also leave it until the autumn to book........
