  • Hiya - just read your dairy - how terrifying about the attempted burglary, I don't know what I'd do in that situation!

Meal planning is something I need to get better at to save money. I do batch cook, but end up with a freezer full of meals and still buy more food!

  • It is a bright autumnal morning here, very good for the soul.

I dreamt someone gave me £100 last night and I OP'd it straightaway, I need to get out more :rotfl:

Rather than doing sporadic OPs this month, I have decided to squirrel my OP money into my savings account then hopefully do a big lump OP on 1st November to get me into the 30s. Having to shell out so much cash this week has really drained our emergency fund, and made me a little nervous, so just for the short term the cash is staying put. However, Tily tidies are permitted so I've just OPd 68p...

Off to snuggle back in bed for an hour - something unheard of normally for me! x

Not as sad as me when I woke up upset as I'd spotted 2p on the floor in my dream and then couldn't find it :D.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

  • I have managed a NSD which is always pleasing :T tomorrow should follow suit, as I have quite a lot of chores to get on with but no need to spend for any of them. Hurrah!

Some more money shuffled over to the savings pot for the November OP. Slowly slowly...

  • Good evening,

I have dug out all of the mortgage paperwork and plan on ringing them tomorrow to set up a standard OP of £300 a month. We don't include an OP as standard in our monthly payment at present, relying instead on ad-hoc OPs throughout the month. I feel :j at the thought of setting it up (I know, I'm sad!)

It's so chilly here today. Nearly time to snug up under a blanket on the sofa and watch some TV. Kiddies are watching Cars 2 snuggled under a blanket eating supper - oh to be little again!
