    Hiya have just got microfibre cloth and used on ceramic hob, It wasn;t v good at dried in stains but once I ahd cleaned it with hob brite, ( from ASDA) it buffed it nicely and the cloths are fine if the stain is not old.

    Lidl hob cleaner used here, its like 'hob brite' but cheaper.

    50% vinegar 50% water - then spray on generously and soak for 5 mins and wipe off. Also good for windows and kitchen bench.

    I use an ordinary polish like pledge or Mr Sheen. They cut through the grease and leave it really shiny.

    hi all

    Ive got a ceramic hob, a joy to cook on -nightmare to clean!

    Cant get the scourer involved on it ( darent) and a lot of the mr muscles type things just dont work

    Surely theres an OS solution?

    I swear by bicarb and vinegar to clean my cooker, works wonders!!!!

    Iam a devotee of Bar Keepers Friend. Available now at Tesco and Sainsburys. It is a powder that you make to a paste with water. It is the only thing I have found that takes the marks off that other cleaners leave. Other than that, Stardrops for everything else. I dont use a "conditioner" like hob-brite as I think it is just advertising myth. My cooker is sparkling without it, and if you cant see the scratch marks, then they are either not there or why bother about them!

    I use Stardrops, its brill!. I usually have a part Stardrops part water mix in a spray bottle. For any stubborn marks I use a tiny bit neat on a damp microfibre cloth and its soon gone.

    I used to use hob brite, which is also very good. Still have some leftover as backup just incase I run out of stardrops (which I doubt would ever happen!).
