how do i convert the extraction rate for bathroom

i just bought a bathroom extractor only to discover that i need air movement of 85 cubic mters per hour in the bathroom but all i can find on the new extractor is 15l/s.

is there a way to find out what the extrcation rate is over for the cubic meter/hour

You need to know there are 1000 litres in a cubic metre and 3600 seconds in an hour

15 l/s = 15/1000 m3/s = (15/1000)x3600 m3/hr = 54 cubic metres per hour.

Standard small fan unit will extract 85m3/hr

As a matter of course I used to instal the 160m3/hr hour units, they are substantially more effecient.

thanks to all the problem is that i already have a 100 mm hole on the wall for a wall mounted fan so any recommendation on a wall fan. if i could get 1 that has a higher exchange rate than 85m3/h that will be great

Try these, you'll struggle to increase flow rate restricted to 100mm, vent Axia also produce a slimline unit which looks less obtrusive, all the 100mm fans are around the 85m3 mark.
