Chemist Direct Cancelled Order

Hi has anybody received orders from Chemist Direct recently.
They were offering some fantastic deals last week or so they say.
My order was cancelled due to lack of stock? The items are still in stock on the website but at a higher price.

Customer service say that they have a problem with their website at present.

Perhaps a very crafty way of obtaining new customers.

    I have dealt with them for a long time and trust the company .
    Its foolish to suggest that they are trying it on .

    I had this problem also and emailed them on Friday. They had taken the money from my account at time of order and 24 hours later emailed saying due to lack of stock part of the order had been cancelled and a part refund would be with me in 3 to 5 days. Received that today. I then got this email from them this evening.


    I can confirm unfortunately we experienced a technical issue and the incorrect prices were uploaded on the website, due to the error the system then cancelled all order made in this error. For this error we apologies to you, unfortunately we cannot honour the price the order was placed for as the products are already at a discount price due to clearance.

    If you have any questions please do not hesitate in contacting us on!0845 259 0175!and we will try our best to resolve your query. Our phone lines are open 8.30AM to 7.00PM!Monday to Friday and 9.00AM!to 5.00PM!Saturday.

    So clearly not being totally honest with "lack of stock" excuse. I'm very disappointed and will avoid in future, just wish I'd read reviews first!

    Their website does not have a live stock system.

    In addition they sometimes mark things as available when they are expected in- so when they are not there.

    I do have personal experience of this!
