Thanks guys It's travelled round the house and little jwil is off again after another sickness bout yesterday. Oh well! He's absolutely fine today but can't go back for 2 days."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Just catching up. Sorry to hear about poorliness but Oh Em Gee at the payment! I don't know all the details of your situation (is interest frozen on them all?) but I don't think replacing the car is the way to go. £4.5k sounds like a lot but it won't buy much in terms of reliability. Even new, expensive, cars can break down, and there's nothing to say that a replacement won't still cost you money. Whereas if your low F&F's are accepted, then the return on that £4.5k becomes very lucrative indeed. This debt has been hanging over you and worrying you for so long that I think a huge decrease in the figure is the best option. (I realise this is what you are doing anyway, but thought I'd support your choice )0% card was £1126.91 / Now £1502.37

Thanks mfmaybe Yes, interest is frozen on all of them and I'm making token payments. So any big reductions will make a massive difference!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
As you can see, today I cleared my smallest debt :T :T :T It feels good to see the back of one.
I was a bit gutted to find the snowball calculator has disappeared, and it wouldn't work on the stoozing one due to the long dates, so I've googled the calculation and put it into my excel spreadsheet. It came out the same as the old one so it's good for me
I've bumped up my emergency savings to £2k and will see what I can negotiate with the rest Going to do one at a time to reduce the stress and so I know what I've got to play with.
I've had my first acknowledgement today from one of my creditors about self managing so all is moving on."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
