Dyson AM 09

I have one of these and love it but I have a question about running costs .

When it has heated the room to the required temperature the fan switches off but does this mean a reduction in running cost or the fact it is still switched on it's the same ?

Comments

  • Bump please incase anyone might know
  • Once the unit has stopped producing heat, the electricity consumption will drop to almost zero.
  • Thankyou for that, I was hoping that may be the case.

Why don't you contact Dyson Support and ask them. You could also go to your local library and see if they have an Energy Saving Kit with a clip on/plug in monitor. You could then see for yourself how much energy is being used.
